Reishi Coffee Smoothie

Good Morning my dear coffee loving friends! 

With the summer heat upon us, and many still working from home, you may be needing a new way to consume your daily coffee. For those of us who are severely lacking in air conditioning, hot coffee is out the window this time of year. 

But that doesn't mean you're tied to just cold brew or sugary fraps! We made an all healthy and crazy delicious smoothie to solve all your frozen coffee cravings while staying super healthy! 

PLUS!! 

We added one of our favorite mushrooms for some immune boosting! Reishi coffee is already one of our favorites, but mixed into this smoothie goodness was next level delicious...trust. 

All of these proportions are up to your discretion. I am a big believer in the "taste and add more" method so do not feel confined to the amounts listed below! have a little fun with it and trust your taste buds (I probably went way over on the peanut butter, but that's just me). You can also add a little instant coffee to punch up the coffee flavors as well if you're so inclined. I hope you enjoy this coffee goodness as much as we did!!

Ingredients

1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
1-2 frozen bananas
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup almond milk
2-3 large tbsp nut butter (we used peanut and almond)
1/2 tsp cinnamon 
2-3 tbsp shredded coconut 
1 tsp chia seeds
     

Healthy Blended Coffee

     

Instructions

Add all ingredients to your blender. Blend until smooth and well combined.
Taste, and add more of any ingredient as needed. 
To serve, top with a little extra coconut, cinnamon, and a pinch of chia seeds.
