We have been exercising those mixology skills and getting creative with some tried and true recipes.
The inspiration for this minty little beverage came from the piles of mint taking over the yard, and some leftover lavender simple syrup in our fridge from our weekend Lavender Lattes that was waiting to be used!
Let me tell you, this did not disappoint! A fun floral take on the classic mojito!

Begin by making your simple syrup:
Combine Lavender, sugar, and water in a pan and bring to a boil, stirring periodically. Once boiling, turn off the heat, and let the flowers steep until cooled. Once cool, strain syrup through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
