How to Make Dragon Fruit Cloud Bread
I'm sure you all remember the crazy cloud bread phase of TikTok. Fluffy clouds of bread everywhere you look. Well, we thought it was time for a reboot since this recipe is just so fun and satisfying to make!
Plus, we made a little discovery that the Dragon Fruit powder purple we love so much turns into a soft, icy, beautiful blue when whipped into egg whites!
Yup. Our favorite pinky purple powder is the only coloring used to make this fluffy cloud blue bread. So fun right? Watch the video below to see how it's done!
2.5 tbs Sugar
1 tbs Cornstarch
Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees F.
Whip egg whites with a mixer until big bubbles form.
Add sugar. Whip egg whites and sugar until small bubbles form.
Add cornstarch. Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Pour egg white mixture onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and form into a loaf or mound.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Simple and easy! Just make sure you are using fresh eggs, not an egg white carton. We had a few fails to figure that one our for you. They just don't seem to whip up quite the same and your bread may fall.
