Looking for a way to spice up your summertime treats? Or add a new twist to your topping spread on family ice cream night?
Try making your own magic shell! It's so incredibly easy to make and trust us, its amazing!
While you could simply use chocolate chips and coconut oil to make a chocolate shell...we wanted a little more COLOR!! What we decided on was Dragon Fruit for a striking pink, Butterfly Pea for a delicate blue, and Japanese Knotweed for a soft yellow!
We made our selections based on color alone (we wanted a rainbow) but I would HIGHLY recommend Strawberry Powder or Raspberry Powder for some incredible flavor additions!
Remember the strawberry milk mix from your childhood?? Well, it's pretty much that, but healthy and natural, and in this instance mixed with white chocolate and covering your ice cream sundae. Sounds pretty good huh??
Maybe you want the vibrant pink of Dragon Fruit but the flavor of Strawberry?? Add both! The options are limitless.
We hope you enjoy this fun and colorful magic shell idea. If anything you can make a whole activity of making the colorful concoctions with the kids and enjoying a sweet frozen snack at the end!
