Chamomile Coconut Mango Milkshake

I know you're going to think we are crazy, but milkshakes don't have to be unhealthy!! 

Just hear us out for a moment... what makes a good milkshake? You need it to be creamy, sweet, flavorful, thick, and cold (obviously). This vegan recipe checks all those boxes but with all-natural ingredients!! 

We get our creaminess and tropical flavor from coconut milk. Yes, it's high in fat but they are good fats! Plus that just means you will be satisfied for longer so you're not left hungry and searching for snacks 30 min later. 

The sweetness comes from bananas and some optional local honey. Bananas are great fiber, potassium, Vitamin C, and manganese! Plus if you use raw local honey you'll be doing your seasonal allergies a favor! 

Coconut and Mango are one of our FAVORITE flavor combinations so this recipe was a huge hit with our team! We hope you enjoy them as much as we did! 

 

Nature Restore Organic Chamomile Recipe Smoothie

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup hot water
2 cups frozen mango chunks
1 can full-fat coconut milk {refrigerated for at least 4 hours}
1 frozen banana
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
2 tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling (optional for a sweeter shake)
    

Chamomile Tea Milkshake Vegan

     

Instructions

Steep the chamomile tea in the hot water for 5 minutes. Then strain out the flowers and cool completely.

Combine the cooled tea with the remaining ingredients in a blender and puree into a milkshake.

Option to garnish with shredded coconut and a drizzle of honey. Serve immediately and enjoy!
