Nature restore butterfly pea powder frosted snowflake rice krispy treats

What is more nostalgic than making Rice Krispie treats at home, sneaking a pinch full while they're still warm in the pan, and wondering why you didn't make more.

Although plain fresh Krispie treats are incredibly delicious, we decided to spice it up with a holiday twist! Using our new Butterfly Pea Powder, we created an icy blue frosting and turned these little Krispies into fun little snowflakes!!

Bringing together the fun of decorating Christmas cookies with the deliciousness of a fresh homemade rice Krispie treat!

Nature Restore Butterfly Pea Powder

Ingredients

3 tbsp butter
4 cups Miniature Marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies® cereal

Instructions

In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.

Using a buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into a dense flat layer.

Cool and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.

Mix butterfly pea powder into plain vanilla frosting, leaving some aside to use as the white snowflake design.

Frost the snowflakes with the blue frosting and, using a piping bag, draw snowflake designs on top with the reserved white frosting.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
