We have been experimenting with our less common ingredients lately which have turned into some pretty amazing dishes!! This Japanese Knotweed pie is one of our latest experiments, and it does not disappoint!
It is primarily an applesauce pie with some added knotweed powder for a nice tart apple taste full of all kinds of health benefits!!
Besides being super high in trans-resveratrol, Japanese Knotweed has shown positive effects on cognitive support in some studies, and also may help with gastrointestinal issues. We go into the details here in our Japanese Knotweed Blog if you want to learn more!
But enough of that, let's get baking!!
