A tea unlike any other

Pu-erh tea originates from a protected region of Yunnan province in Southern China. A unique process of microbial fermentation gives the tea its dark, earthy flavor and color. The process removes most of the astringent (bitter) taste and helps retain freshness for up to 50 years. Pu-erh tea leaves age better over time, just like wine!

Wrapped in a deep earthy scent with underlying peaty notes, organic Pu-erh tea is a popular coffee substitute.

Flavor profile: Dark and aged. Our Pu-erh is earthy but mellow with a mildly sweet aftertaste and a smooth finish (acquired taste)

Pairs with: Tropical fruit flavors, citrus, dried flowers, dark chocolate, cheese, and meats. A perfect digestif for after heavy or greasy meals.

Ingredients: USDA Certified Organic Pu-erh leaves

Storage Information: For optimal taste and freshness, store in a cool, dry place

USDA Organic | Non-GMO | Gluten-Free | Vegan

Special note: The color of our leaves may occasionally change depending on the time of harvest. Same product, same taste!
