Raspberry BBQ Sauce (Whole 30/ Paleo friendly)

Time to fire up that barbeque... SUMMER IS HERE!!

We have put together this diet-friendly and delicious homemade BBQ sauce recipe that is perfect for all your BBQ needs! We know everyone is careful about their diet about now (trying to get that post-quarantine summer bod going) so we made a Whole 30 and Paleo-friendly sauce that has all the sweet without the sugar!!

A lot of that sweetness is coming from balsamic vinegar and our raspberry juice powder, so if you are not a balsamic lover this may not be for you...but for the rest of us I highly recommend!! We were presently surprised by the tasty and totally compliant meal we made using this recipe!

We used this sauce to mix up a batch of wings, but it would be equally as good on ribs, pulled pork, tempeh, tofu, or as a dip for some tots or french fries!

Notes:

If it tastes too strong or is too thick, add more water.

If you want a more fruity taste, add more Raspberry Powder, or add a couple of tablespoons of our Strawberry Powder to pump up the berry taste.

If you are unsure about the cinnamon, wait until the end, if it feels like it is missing something then add in the cinnamon, if you like it as is then you are done!

I recommend tasting along the way and adjusting the seasonings to your own personal tastebuds.
For the wings, we did a light coating of sauce and pre-cooked in the pressure cooker (1 cup water, cook the wings on the wire rack insert for 6 minutes on high, naturally release for 10 minutes). Tossed with BBQ sauce and transferred to broiler on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes, or until they begin to crisp up.
