Pink Superfood Porridge
We are so excited to share with you this wonderful recipe from our friend Katja Meier! You may recognize this beautiful bowl from her breathtakingly gorgeous Instagram page @breakfastwithflowers where she shares all of her wonderful edible flower and plant-based creations!
She blends these two powders into a delicious porridge and tops with her favorite fruits and flowers! All the details below.
Pink superfood porridge (2 servings)
2 cups oat milk
1 cup fine oatmeal
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 tbsp red beet powder
1 heaped tbsp dragon fruit powder
1 heaped tbsp erythritol
1/4 cup freeze-dried cubed strawberries (or 1/2 cup fresh)
Bring oat milk to the boil.
Add oatmeal and grated coconut and allow to simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove from heat and add red beet powder, dragon fruit powder, erythritol, and strawberries.
Serve with your favorite fruits & edible flowers.
