Perfectly Oaty Smoothie Bowl
Ready for another wonderfully delicious smoothie bowl??
Well, this one is one for the books! We wanted to make a super filling but so so healthy bowl to quench all of our breakfast cravings! You might call us crazy...but our favorite new smoothie ingredient is OATS!!
I know what you're thinking...oats?? Why not just make oatmeal if that's what you want?
Well, although that is a wonderful option, oats in a smoothie give such a wonderfully thick and hearty texture. Plus, they make it super satisfying and nourishing! It's the same reason we add nut butter to our smoothies...we want it to stay a little more filling and not leave us craving snacks an hour down the road.
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/3 cup frozen blueberries
1 tbsp Nature Restore Strawberry Powder
1 tbsp Nature Restore Dragon Fruit Powder
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp coconut flakes
1/4 cup oats
1 cup milk (we used almond)
1/2 cup ice cubes
honey and desired topping!
Add all ingredients (except for honey and toppings) to your blender and blend until smooth and thick.
Transfer smoothie to your favorite bowl and top with your favorite toppings. We used frozen berries, coconut, chia seeds, and a healthy drizzle of local honey.
Then relax into your seat and enjoy the deliciousness!
