Matcha contains caffeine, just like any tea, but the effects tend to be less jittery than a caffeine high from coffee and other teas. Matcha contains the amino acid L-theanine which helps to prevent the low that can so often follow a caffeine hit. Stevia is a natural plant-based sweetener, that tastes just like sugar (no nasty artificial sweetener flavors on our watch) but has zero calories. You have to taste it to believe it. Its 300 times sweeter than normal cane sugar, so a little goes a long way. A pinch is all it takes to sweeten this green glory. So add everything together, whizz it up and add the nut milk of your choice. Divine!
