Cordyceps Matcha Latte

In need of an energy boost this morning? This matcha cordyceps latte is just the ticket! Combining the green tea boost from a nice cup of matcha with the energy and vitality from cordyceps, you will be off and running in no time! This cozy morning beverage adds a nice savory and unexpectedly delicious element to your regular morning matcha. Cordyceps are known to support healthy breathing, heart, liver and kidney functions, and are also used to provide energy, stamina, and endurance! Best thing? This drink is vegan and gluten-free so everyone can enjoy!


Ingredients:

1 tsp matcha powder

½ tsp cordyceps powder

¼ tsp raspberry powder (optional)

1 ½ cups almond milk (or milk of your choosing)

Agave or maple syrup to taste


Directions:


Heat almond milk in a saucepan until steamy and lightly simmering.

While waiting for milk to steam, mix powders (matcha, cordyceps, and raspberry (if using)) in your cup of choice. Make sure cup is large enough to hold milk and leave room for mixing and frothing!

Once milk is heated, add a small amount to powder mixture. Mix to create a paste-like consistency. Pour in remainder of milk and mix well with a whisk ensuring no clumps are left behind. Add agave if desired and mix to disperse.


**optional use of a blender**  simply add all ingredients into the blender. Blend, pour, and enjoy!
